Ryan Clement

Research Assistant, Matter Design

Ryan Clement is a second year master of architecture student at the MIT School of Architecture and Planning. He received his undergraduate degree in architectural engineering, focusing in structural engineering, from the University of Colorado, Boulder in 2018. While studying architectural engineering, Ryan worked at several structural engineering offices in Colorado: SA Miro (2016) and Studio NYL (2017- 2018). Last year, he worked as an architectural designer at Ruhl Studio Architects in Boston. In his work, Ryan is passionate about creating narrative architecture that critically addresses issues such as climate change, financial structures, the suburban-urban divide, and labor and the collective.
