‘A Change of State’ has been published by Lisa Iwamoto in the book titled “Digital Fabrications: Architetural and Material Techniques”. Lisa has organized the book into chapters demonstrating through precedents, 5 fabrication techniques — sectioning, tessellating, folding, contouring, and forming.

Given the huge level of interest the Architectural Design Competition has generated, WCAC is offering a unique opportunity for the public to view all submissions to the Competition. WCAC will hold its Architectural Design Exhibition at the Arts Centre from Friday February 6 to Sunday February 22.
An experiment in material process. Charged with the task to work with Borosilicate glass, these renderings explore the latent potential in the material — fuze, bend, break, stretch… As a parallel path of research we plan to compare means and methods of fabrication across a variety of materials.
